Condolence From: Virgil Grenia (Lynn)
Condolence: Dear Kay and Family, I was looking online for your phone number and address tonight and came across the obituary for Murel instead. Shocked to say the least. I'm so sorry for all of you and will have all of you in my prayers. I was hoping to visit with Murel via phone or email and renew some old memories from a childhood that seems long ago. I was going through some boxes of photographs taken years ago and came across your wedding picture. Kay .. I was remembering the day that Murel met you and how excited he was. That was truly Love at first sight. Murel, You were my closest friend for many many years and I treasure those memories to this day. I remember the farms we worked on, the calves we took to the county fair, the bike rides on frozen creeks, Hawthorn grade school, Libertyville HS and Deringer Metalurgical. I could go on and on because they are memories of wonderful times. God Bless You Dear Friend and your family as well. I will keep on remembering. Your Friend, Lynn

Condolence: My dad was a wonderful, Christian man. I was fortunate to be brought up in an Christian home. We were always in church when the doors were open. My dad had always been supportive of me. He was very proud when I got my bachelors degree in nursing. I believe I got my perseverance from him. Dad was a perfectionist. We always were hoping when we did something for him, we did it as well. We will see as we try and keep his perfect yard as nice as he had it. We promised we will do the best we can. He enjoyed his many friends. He enjoyed going golfing, going out to eat, going on fishing trips to MN with his brother-in-law and nephews. Dad and mom also enjoyed their 52 yrs together. They enjoyed many trips together, either by themselves, with dad's sisters or meeting up with friends and other family members. They had a wonderful opportunity to go on an Alaskan cruise few years ago, which I know was the highlight of their lives together. Dad was always there for me when I need advice. I asked him who am I going to go to when I need advice on something. He reassured me that I will do just fine. I love you, dad.
