Gary Roberts

Gary and I graduated from Mars Hill High School together. The only class I SPECIFICALLY remember with him was PHYSICS! We were a small group of guys with an eccentric teacher. I can’t say I got physics in that class, but obviously, Gary got it and learned how to teach it in a way that made his students relish the opportunity to learn and then go out and make significant contributions with their lives. Student testimonies make me wish I could have taken physics from him. After HS and college I went to DC to work and lost touch with him. My life would have been richer if I had shared some of the past 50 years with Gary.
