One of the best teachers I ever had

I had Mr. Phillips for Physics at NBH. He was a wonderful teacher. I am terrible at math, but somehow he made physics fun. I remember that "McGyer" was a popular TV show then, and the day after McGyver aired we'd be like, "Mr. Phillips, is it really possible for McGyer to do all that?" 

Then Mr. Phillips would say, "Well, let's see...." and he would work out all the mathematics and science of whether or not what we saw on TV was possible----it was a wonderful, interesting and entertaining class that taught us about physics and was totally capitivating.

To this day, I have no idea why this man wasn't working at NASA or something. But I'm thankful I had him as a teacher. 

RIP Mr. Phillips.
