My dad was a wonderful, Christian man. I was fortunate to be brought up in an Christian home. We were always in church when the doors were open. My dad had always been supportive of me. He was very proud when I got my bachelors degree in nursing. I believe I got my perseverance from him. Dad was a perfectionist. We always were hoping when we did something for him, we did it as well. We will see as we try and keep his perfect yard as nice as he had it. We promised we will do the best we can. He enjoyed his many friends. He enjoyed going golfing, going out to eat, going on fishing trips to MN with his brother-in-law and nephews. Dad and mom also enjoyed their 52 yrs together. They enjoyed many trips together, either by themselves, with dad's sisters or meeting up with friends and other family members. They had a wonderful opportunity to go on an Alaskan cruise few years ago, which I know was the highlight of their lives together. Dad was always there for me when I need advice. I asked him who am I going to go to when I need advice on something. He reassured me that I will do just fine. I love you, dad.
