My Grandmother was one of the most influential people in my life. As a child, her home was my home. Mamu (as some of us affectionately called her) was always there for me as a spiritual compass but it did not end there. She had a great love for all and as long as I can remember she was always praying to God for anyone who needed to be lifted up in prayer and she had a great burden for lost souls. I remember well when I was a young child hearing her call out to God so earnestly regarding issues that were of concern and I know for a fact she was one of the strongest Prayer Warriors I have ever known. The other side of Mamu was the comical side. She was quite the cut-up and had a sense of humor that was second to none. She loved and embraced life as well as all the people she knew. After 103 years of life, her little body was tired and could not go forward any longer. I will miss her. However, her spirit is with our Heavenly Father and there is no better place for her to be.
