I knew Ed since 1971, when I worked for him at Wachenhut Electronic Systems in Miami, FL. We became good friends and amateur radio buddies throughout the following 48 years. Most recently, we worked on new antenna designs which culminated in several books books that Ed recently published. Ed was my favorite boss during my career. He really mentored me and the rest of his team.
I was very fortunate to know Ed and he is greatly missed.
My condolences and sincere sympathy to Ed's family

Thank you Geoff for your kind words. I heard your name many times over the years. My dad talked fondly about you. It is nice to know the backstory of how you met.
